bamboo - watercolour class

" bamboo"
Arches 300g /m2
watercolour lesson

had a wonderful lesson today........ Marina had brought some incredible references of Japenese paintings and gave a fantastic demo ....using  small amounts of gesso , working "wet in wet" and  "wet on dry" .

  5. I like the soft lost edges. How much gesso is in there? An interesting concept. You are so good painting flowers in a loose style with lost edges. I find that really difficult.
