  2. Lovely composition. Nice color harmony and a great green. Is it golden green? Just bought it and it's a lovely transparent color. I always admire artists who paint flowers that look so natural. It's not easy.

  4. Ciao Jane, very beatiful your paint..I love this flowers (I dont't know the name in english, in italian is ninfee) and last summer I was in Croazia near Montenegro and I see in a little lake a grass of ninfee up to the water. Fantastic!
    I think that this flower is poetic and you gave it this atmosphere...

    christiane painted this far too quickly last 10 mins with no masking had to stop before i'd finished the initial wash..would have liked alittle more time ..thankyou

    thankyou jean i like the ref photo messed up the bottom rhs and flower alittle ... no i didn't use gold green ( i love that shade too ), i used quin gold and trans yellow ... enjoy !

    yes water lily is ninfee floriana we too were in croatia and montenegro last summer :) ..marina took this beautiful photo here on a lake very similar to the one you have described . grazie ciao jane
