I have a large collection of old jam jars to keep my brushes and which I use as water containers ...posting a quick sketch of a few watercolour brushes in a jam jar with no preliminary pencil sketch .
Gorgeous, Jane. I love the way the background colours blend in the subtle shadows behind the brushes. They really draw you into the painting.
RispondiEliminaMy jam jar collection is coming along nicely too. The addition of my new brushes that have just arrived will mean a jam eating fest is looming!!This one made me smile.
RispondiEliminaThis is simply PERFECT!! What a great subject for this technique :0)

RispondiEliminaCiao Jane, i tuoi bellissimi lavori sembrano sempre immersi in un sogno grazie al sapiente uso dell'acqua ma anche alla delicatezza d'animo che io credo tu abbia.
