....after reading a couple of the comments on my last post thought i'd post a few of my photos .....for those who aren't familiar with old man's beard "clematis vitalba".... it is also known as traveller's joy .

RispondiEliminaWonderful photos....the top one would make a really lovely soft wash painting. It has an Asian feel to it. Is this your photo, Jane? If so could I use it to make a painting from please? I might need you to e-mail me it in a larger size in 300dpi to get a clearer look. I can just see this in many many washes creating a subtle grey...
