pouring and blending - watercolour wash

wash # 40
Canson Montval CP 32 x 41 cm
magenta + cyan + primary yellow
    2 pours  ....pouring vertically

wash #40
a possible crop

....i've just started exploring pouring with washes as part of the 100 washes challenge .... here i made two pours holding the paper vertically  ...i did paint two small areas of magenta  whilst the second pour was still wet.

  1. This is so effective and surprisingly beautiful as a painting in its own right. The mount finishes it off beautifully!

  6. I like better the two ones you did before. These ones are not manipulated and are normal ones when you pour something over a paper. Your creations are much better

  9. I like this one a lot, the simplicity of it. Looks great with the mat, too.
Funny, of the very little watercolor I did for a while, the things I liked best looked somewhat like this.

Ciao!
