....posting another salt wash ... i used fine table salt here with lots of water ....."washing off" some areas where i had already applied salt and re - applying salt and pigment in other areas.
Nice to see the results of salt on watercolours - always unpredictable and exciting.

sophia i made a lot of swatches and examples for a class demo i was asked to give ..timing is essential for different effects but there is a wonderful element of surprise.

water pigment and salt doing all the work christy here...definately want to work at a larger scale ...rock salts leaves beautiful colours and marks mixing grey shades ...thanks for looking .
