a preliminary study working from memory and exploring washes inspired by large openings of the sliding industrial doorways of many façades on my recent trip to France .
Very beautiful, Jane, it is a kind of emotional painting to me, I don't know why. Maybe the combination of the hard lines of the building and the soft washes of the leaves.

So beautiful! I didn't need to hear an explanation - I saw walls and those lovely blooms falling over the tops.
The hard line and soft flowers combined makes it very interresting Jane.
This is gorgeous...more than just a study in my eyes. I love how the minute detail intertwines with the softness.
