.....I've started another course of watercolour lessons last week with Marina Marcolin ....the excercise  was to carefully build up the painting in sections with "wet in wet" washes ..background , vase , foreground  and  then leaves ..adding some fine details at the end "wet on dry"... The yellow fan shaped leaves of the Ginkgo Biloba are so beautiful in the autumn .

hi sadami ... not very much detail ...we were ask to be precise with the washes... marina's a super illustrator

not sure i would choose to paint this but it was a good reference and exercise to work from sandra..thankyou

Amazing watercolor, great composition and colors. I would like so much to join your class. My teacher is very good, but she is more in realism and oils, looking at watercolor as subsidiary medium. Please post more details about your lessons, if possible.
