"Crostoli"
Dolci di Carnevale
Canson Fontenay 300g/m2
...... I painted this earlier this year at the end of Carnival at the same time as I painted the Venetian Masks wash # 53 .. it was fun wash and an example of using bubble wrap to create texture in a wash .

bubble wrap...what next?
I always admire artists who can paint the most "unbecoming" aspects of reality and make them glow with a new light and life. Thank you for sharing. By the way we call them frappe in Rome...
Amazing piece Jane - I love the light on the foil container and the texture of the food. Is it like a crepe or a british pancake? It certainly looks delicious :)
It's a beautiful painting, Jane! And it looks delicious! Have fun with your girls!
thanks judy for looking posted this earlier on in the year just wanted to add it to 100 washes challenge .
Simple and yet so effective! :0)
