Nice colors Jane. I love working on hot-pressed paper and use it for most of my paintings. I like the way the color sits on top of the paper instead of soaking in - and the colors are more vibrant.
Makes me think about Lappland. Lovely!
Jane, this is a very soothing little watercolor.
Beautiful, Jane! I wonder how you use the palette knife, do you use undiluted paints?
thanks jean ...i really like hot press too ...all the best with your tutoring /courses hi catharina the snow has arrived late this year ! ...mountain tops are covered finally ...we are surrounded by beautiful views here ...thank you for lookingthank you candy hi judy glad you like it a very quick wash... for this wash i wet the paper first and used paint straight from the tube ...wet in wet ....lost quite a few of the reserved whites here ... lots of scope with marks ...you can scrape off and lift.
Gorgeous wash and the colors are so peaceful. Thank you so much for sharing. Hugs!
