Watercolour PAINTING by Jean - Louis Morelle - Rosehips step by step by Ewa Karpinska

last year at Jean Haines' workshop Jean recommended a wonderful book by Jean-Louis Morelle "Watercolour PAINTING" ...... my painting is one of the many exercises and step by steps i have enjoyed following and painting from his book ... Rosehips step by step by Ewa Karpinska .... i have since brought Ewa Karpiska's book "wet on wet watercolour painting " which is excellent.
details of Jean Morelle book can be found on his site http://www.jean-louis-morelle.com/

Oh my god, too weird. I just was on your blog for the first time and asked (a few minutes ago) if you'd ever heard of this artist (and his protegee Ewa), because your work reminds me of theirs!
Superb.

What a coincidence! I just came across Ewa Karpinska wonderful book yesterday and your blog. I can't wait to read it. Your work is beautiful Jane and particulary this watercolour, I love the "watery" edges. Well done!

suzanne i found Ewa's book so invaluable and inspiring to read it explains so concisely almost in a scienfic fashion the process of "wet in wet" with Ewa's close observations and photos "The Stages of the Water Cycle" "Colour Application" ..She's an outstanding artist.... looks like you are enjoying her book .

g'day Jane, from australia.

I am keen to buy the two abovementioned books, but the prices on Amazon equate to around $200 Aussie plus postage. Can you suggest another option/avenue please?
Great blog of your's, Jane. I often spend enjoyable time on your blog, over a cuppa or 2.
Mike.
