reds - initial wash

"reds"
geraniums in a copper pot

this is a crop of an initial watercolour wash on a full sheet i painted last week... it's unfinished ... working at this scale is new for me ..i'm experimenting ...i like the freedom it gives ...i need alot of practice .

Ho l'impressione che tu voglia dissolvere le forme e i colori, forse per un desiderio di libertà e di leggerezza? Ciao.

It looks so loose and lovely--I really like this! What scale is this, Jane?

I love it too! Jane, I love the pot area with the little highlight and blue shadows. I'd love to do a full sheet one of these days.. the freedom to explore appeals to me. I'm sure this looks stunning IRL!
