oh thank you anamaria ...there were so many incredible things to paint there at the monastery rusty old keys ,ancient chains , old bed warmers pots and pans beautiful, old waffle makers antique flower presses just to mention a few ...lots of inspiration for everyone to choose from, hedgerows full of berries and wild flowers ...the simple ladle was one of many exercises to practice working wet in wet , wet in dry , lost and found edges , sketching with and without initial sketches .
