drawings and watercolours by jane minter
Very beautiful, Jane, it is a kind of emotional painting to me, I don't know why. Maybe the combination of the hard lines of the building and the soft washes of the leaves.
Hi, Jane, go for it! Me, too, explore washes and try to create images from memories (that's what my mentor has suggested). Enjoy watercolour! Best wishes, Sadami
Beautiful colours. Janny
So beautiful! I didn't need to hear an explanation - I saw walls and those lovely blooms falling over the tops.
The hard line and soft flowers combined makes it very interresting Jane.
This is gorgeous...more than just a study in my eyes. I love how the minute detail intertwines with the softness.
I really enjoyed catching up with your blog, Jane. This painting is beautiful as are so many others. Also glad to see you painting from memory. I kept reminding myself over the past few weeks that I needed to visit then saw you visited mine! :-) Thanks for the comments.
Love this Jane, very spontaneous and emotive !
Es un buen tema, no sólo por los pictórico, sino también por lo simbólico. Saludos.
