a preliminary study working from memory and exploring washes inspired by large openings of the sliding industrial doorways of many façades on my recent trip to France .

Very beautiful, Jane, it is a kind of emotional painting to me, I don't know why. Maybe the combination of the hard lines of the building and the soft washes of the leaves.
