Sometimes I look at old work and think it's awful, lol! We evolve, don't we? But occasionally I find something that I like when I didn't like it at all back then... Your apples are lovely! I don't think I'd touch it :0)
OMG, these are exquisite, Jane!!! I still wish I could spend some time painting with you ... I love your work.
what a great green ... and I love the little sparks of white.
Yummy! Both the fruit and the pigments...
Me gustan mucho, mucho no, mucho mucho mucho. Me encanta tu estilo.Un abrazo.
Fresh and loose, awesome job !
Lovely subtle watercolor. Love the greens.
reminds me of baked apples when they hold from the cooking but are soft and gorgeous
Magnifiche queste mele..... trasformate in pura poesia. Buona giornata, Jane.
Wow these apples have quite the glow on! Beautiful greens and dreamy looking.
very dreamy! love the sort of abstract tone.
thank you every one for all your comments and feedback will look at your blog posts as soon as i can ... i painted this quite some time ago at the time i put it to one side as i washed away too much of the painting including the shadows ...could still add alittle maybe but i don't dislike it as it is now.
You add a beautiful twist to something that is quite ordinary in life. Lovely work.
many thanks laura :)
Apples is a stunning painting. The greens and lost edges are just wonderful. Memories of a lake ... beautiful. I am striving to paint in a looser fashion:it is not easy!
