....couldn't resist painting this study of an old enamelled cast iron sink which I chose and interpreted  from one of the many course reference photos...this was my  last lesson of the course with Marina Macolin .

oooh fabulous...all the way to the rust..wow......and the water lily below....beautiful. We were painting them in our gouache workshop...you would have loved it:)

I have a real soft spot for salvaged old stuff like this. There is real 'old-world' charm to these items that always have great details and character. A beautiful piece.
