A portrayal of calm and serene

Très joliment suggéré, tout en délicatesse avec une belle harmonie de couleurs. Bises.

thankyou for your kind words lorraine we have so many of them growing wild in the woods..they are tightly closed with the rain now.

thank you lydie .. i wasn't very happy with the underpainting /under wash ...i decided to use
an opaque watercolour violet - grey by old holland with the second wash... i like the effect ...it's not finished ..i will try another study .

Oh, so beautiful, delicate and very nicely suggested with just enough detail to unlock one's imagination!

Jane, your work is brilliant. Like Turner, you have the ability of saying so much without being overdone. BRILLIANT!!

I have read it as "wild blue mood anemones" and the painting feels so true blue and transparent.
