Beautiful how the flowers emerge from the wash!

Delicious! These remind me of a painting of purple hyacinths you had a couple of years ago, in a similar technique, which I loved.

Hi, Jane,
Lovely! It would be interesting, if I could see you working in my eye -- on a big and heavy paper.
Cheers, Sadami

Great style Jane, pinks ii you say "initial wash" but it looks a finished watercolor

Pinks two has that extra bit of color, both paintings draw you in and have you begging for more!

These really are beautiful :0)

Lovely. This painting really demonstrates what you do so well ... Your wet-in-wet washes are so beautifully diffuse, yet don't lose their vibrancy or the sense of what you're painting. I wish I could do it!

You are SO clever, Jane - these are magical.

When the gardener takes cuttings from pinks, they call it 'piping'! I don't know why, but I heard it as a little boy and never forgot!
