An ancient fruit ... in Turin, where I lived for many years, there were many carob trees in public parks ...
Since 10 years I do not live in Turin, and I do not saw carob trees!.
I admire ,after many years,
these fruits now ,painted beautifully by you,Jane..
An elegant composition, and the color and texture of the fruit are really perfect!

Beautiful, Jane! There are two of these trees in our citycenter, and I never knew the name. The pods always looked alien to me, but you made them look fabulous!

Je connais la poudre de caroube, succédané du chocolat mais ne connais pas la plante.
J'aime les petits éclats de lumière que tu as laissé et les tons chauds au milieu de tous ces sombres.

they have an acquired taste... not as good as chocolate lydie ... liked this in principle need to refine it in the next study.. thankyou
