Hi Jane, I really like the technique here of the existing watercolour wash, biro then detail...and your resulting painting is wonderful. Thanks for sharing, hopefully I can run with an idea like this - at least give it a go, all thanks to you, cheers....ann.
Hello Jane:) Love the way you painted this one. So different from your other paintings. Very nice!
Very interesting effect. It's so striking!
This is beautiful, Jane! What a great idea to paint over an existing wash, it turned out great!
Jane, just brilliant! If I could get my head around buildings I would want to aspire to painting them like this.
This is so beautiful Jane. I love the fluid colors. :)
love this painting for its colors and the freshness. One can feel the architecture immediately by looking at this watercolor. but I consider this one as a finished painting rather than a simply study.

I adore this style of architecture and your beautiful painting evokes the classical age.
This is gorgeous! It has a sort of 'Jean Haines' feel to it :0)
Très joliment et délicatement suggérée.
Il est tellement facile de se perdre dans tous les détails de ce type de façade, un écueil que tu as parfaitement évité. Bravo !
Bellissima la tua interpretazione della Basilica Palladiana, Jane. Ciao!
